South Africa is one of the best countries in Africa for safaris, offering the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant, as well as a host of other species. Throughout this trip you will see two of its most important nature reserves, its major cities and do a myriad of activities of all kinds. South Africa is the most advanced country on the African continent in terms of LGBT rights. It was the first country in the world whose constitution explicitly prohibited discrimination against homosexuals and, in 2006, legalised equal marriage, the first country in Africa and the fifth in the world to do so.

Itinerary
Get ready to live an experience that you will not easily forget. Throughout this trip you will get to know the best of South Africa, cities and natural areas that you will love.
Days 1 and 2 / Origin - Johannesburg
Departure from the city of origin with overnight on board. Arrival at Johannesburg airport and pick-up of your rental car. Departure to the hotel.
Day 3 / Johannesburg - Kruger N.P.
Departure to the resort located in Hazyview, in the Mpumalanga province, close to the entrance of the Kruger National Park (approximately 4 hours direct drive without stops).
Day 4 / Kruger National Park
Early departure for a full day safari by open 4×4 vehicle with English speaking guide in the Kruger National Park, which protects the largest amount of wildlife in Africa, including the Big Five (leopards, lions, rhinos, buffaloes and elephants). Note: Passport will be required at the entrance to the Park.

Day 5 / Kruger N.P. - Isimangaliso N.P. (Greater St Lucia Wetland Park)
After breakfast, optional stop at a handicraft market. Departure with your rental vehicle to Zululand and the Isimangaliso Swamps Park region, a World Heritage site between the Indian Ocean and the estuary. With its lush rainforest vegetation, this network of lakes is the natural habitat of hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, iguanas and birds (approx. 7 hours drive excluding possible stops).
Day 6 / Isimangaliso National Park
Free day to enjoy the St Lucia region and the Isimangaliso.
Day 7 - Isimangaliso N.P. - Durban - Cape Town
Departure to Durban airport (approximately 2 ½ hours excluding possible stops) and return of the rental car. Flight to Cape Town. Arrival and pick-up of the rental car and departure to the hotel.
Days 8 and 9 / Cape Town
Free days to enjoy Cape Town, the LGBT oasis of Africa.
This city is one of the most avant-garde and cosmopolitan in the country and one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world.With numerous hotels, nightclubs and restaurants catering to the LGBT tourist, it’s hard to get bored.
Among the highlights is Clifton 3rd beach, one of the best gay beaches in the world. After the beach, you can continue on to Camps Bay, a nearby enclave with a great atmosphere and plenty of nightlife. Also worth mentioning is the Victoria & Alfred promenade, full of shops and restaurants where you’ll go crazy; or Green Point, another of the most important gay nightlife spots. And, of course, ‘Table Mountain’, where you’ll find the best views of the city (you can go up by cable car or take a 4-hour ride).
Finally, between February and March, Cape Town celebrates its famous Pride, Africa’s oldest Pride, which began in the 1990s. A ten-day festival of festivities and events culminating in a huge parade.

It includes 9 days of a Renault Sandero Stepway Hatch or similar vehicle with manual transmission, alarm, power steering, airbags, ABS, air conditioning and radio/CD.
The vehicle rental includes all taxes including VAT and airport taxes, unlimited mileage, insurance “Super Cover” and insurance for two (2) drivers, cost for returning the vehicle in a different city from the one where you picked up the rental vehicle (1 time) and contract fee.
The vehicle rental excludes: refundable deposit R1650 by credit card (value subject to change), the credit card has to be in the name of the driver of the rental vehicle, cost of cross-border permit in case of crossing an international border, tolls, administrative cost for each infraction / fine (R295), administrative cost in case of accident or fine (R750), fuel and GPS.
