"I am a trans person and I am also blind. I was in a hurry to take a vacation, but I thought I couldn't go without someone to accompany me or else, traveling alone and being bored out of my mind. But I contacted The Queer Travel and explained my situation. And they knew very well what to suggest for my trip, and organized everything so easily, that I didn't have to do much more than go to the airport. They advised me on the best destination city, they recommended a hotel that would be not only comfortable but also fun for a person traveling alone, they put me in touch with an excellent tour guide who was extremely friendly and sensitive to my limitations and my tastes. Towards the end of my stay, I was at the hotel bar having a drink, thinking about how much fun I was having despite traveling alone. And it suddenly dawned on me that that same day, seven years ago, was the day I was finally told that my blindness would be for life.
