Its tourist attractions are endless, it is bathed by the waters of the Caribbean and the Pacific, it contains incredible marine, mountainous and jungle ecosystems, with a very extensive flora and fauna. Travelling through Colombia will take you from modern cities to colonial ones where time stood still long ago. If all this is not enough for you, wait until you taste its rich gastronomy or experience some of its most deeply-rooted traditions. On this honeymoon we propose several weeks enjoying some of the most important cities in the country and ending up relaxing in the Caribbean paradise of the Rosario Islands. Itinerary

This complete itinerary through Colombia will take you to see in depth both the modern and traditional side of the country and beaches with turquoise and crystalline waters.

Day 1 / Origin - Bogotá
Welcome to Bogotá, Colombia’s multicultural capital!

Upon arrival at the airport, assistance and transfer to your hotel. Let the adventure begin!
Days 2 and 3 / Bogotá
Free days to explore the city. Bogotá has a lot to offer from all points of view. Let yourself get lost in its neighbourhoods and discover all its history, gastronomy, cultural plans and street atmosphere.
Day 4 / Bogotá - Medellín
After breakfast and at the indicated time, transfer from the hotel to Bogota airport to take the flight to Medellin. Once there, transfer to the hotel.
Days 5 and 6 / Medellín
Medellín is the “city of eternal spring” and has undergone a great social revolution in recent times. Get lost in the centre and discover some of its most famous neighbourhoods and surroundings.
Day 7 / Medellín - Pereira
At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to Pereira, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. If you like coffee, get ready, because you are in the right place.
Day 8 / Pereira
After breakfast, excursion to Filandia, a typical village. There you will visit its colonial streets, the Quindío viewpoint, a stop at a basket weaving workshop and a gastronomic experience in a local restaurant. Afterwards, transfer to the Cocora Valley appreciating the beautiful landscape. Once there, welcome cocktail and introduction to the Nature Reserve. You will visit the cloud forest, where you will be able to appreciate the biodiversity of fauna and flora. You will do the ritual of the Quindío wax palm and learn about the history of how the aborigines worshipped this palm. Afterwards, visit to Salento, another typical village, where you will go on a walking tour visiting its colonial streets, craft workshops and the viewpoint of Cocora.

Approximate duration: 7 hours of activity plus transfer time.
Day 9 / Pereira - Cartagena
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the next destination, the beautiful city of Cartagena.
Day 10 / Cartagena
Cartagena de Indias is Colombia’s most important colonial city and an obligatory stop on any trip to this country. Located in the Caribbean, it was founded by the Spanish in 1533. It soon became an important trading port for gold, slaves and other goods. Due to attacks by pirates and other European powers, it had to build a system of walls and fortifications that are still perfectly preserved today.
Day 11 / Cartagena - Rosario Islands
At the agreed time, transfer to the dock to go by boat to the Rosario Islands.
Days 12 and 13 / Rosario Islands
This little known paradise is located about 40 km from Cartagena and consists of 27 islands belonging to the National Natural Park of the Corales del Rosario and San Bernardo Islands. You will enjoy the crystal clear turquoise blue waters so typical of the Caribbean and you will be able to relax or do water activities such as diving, snorkelling, surfing or kayaking.
Day 14 / Rosario Islands - Cartagena
We hope your stay in this paradise has been amazing and unforgettable, but your honeymoon is coming to an end. Today it’s back to Cartagena de Indias to spend the last few days again.
Days 15 and 16 / Cartagena - Origin
We have no doubt that after this wonderful trip you will come back full of unforgettable memories. We hope it will be the first of many after saying “I do” together.
