The Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona has inaugurated the exhibition A LGBTQ+ look at Planeta Vida. The intervention, which has counted with the collaboration of the PRISMA Association, invites the public to move away from stereotypes and social precepts and to reflect on sexual diversity in the animal world.
With A LGTBI+ look at Planet Life, the Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona aims to question a scientific discourse adapted to the traditional thinking of society instead of the diverse reality that surrounds us. With that intention, each of the 12 panels that make up the exhibition contains information about reproduction, affectivity, sex and gender.
The Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona is open from Tuesday to Friday from ten in the morning until five in the afternoon, Saturdays until seven o’clock and Sundays and holidays until eight o’clock. The visit to A LGBTQ+ look at Planeta Vida is included in the Museum entrance fee.
