Day 1 / October 29: Departure flight
Departure on a flight to Ushuaia, overnight on board
Day 2 / Ushuaia
Arrival in the city of Ushuaia, assistance and welcome by our staff at the airport, and transfer to the hotel
Day 3 / Ushuaia
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin one of the most iconic experiences of the trip. In the morning, we will venture into Tierra del Fuego National Park aboard the legendary End of the World Train, a historic relic that travels along the old routes used by prisoners of Ushuaia’s former jail. Along the way, we’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of ancient forests, Patagonian valleys, and remnants of the earliest indigenous settlements. The adventure continues inside the park, where we’ll explore natural viewpoints, culturally significant sites, and the legendary last post office of the Americas, all surrounded by some of the most spectacular landscapes in the southernmost part of the continent. Later, we’ll head to Ensenada, a bay with a unique ecosystem, for an easy hike that will allow us to discover archaeological remains and observe the local flora and fauna up close, including Acigami (Roca) Glacier Lake and the iconic Lapataia Bay, the endpoint of the Pan-American Highway. The rest of the afternoon will be free to enjoy Ushuaia at your own pace.
Day 4 / Ushuaia
Breakfast at the hotel and a free day.
Day 5 / Ushuaia - El Calafete
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to the airport to take the flight to El Calafate, the gateway to Patagonia’s majestic glaciers. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by our local team, who will assist us and transfer us comfortably to the selected hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest, acclimate, and start enjoying the Patagonian surroundings.
Day 6 / Calafate
After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a full-day excursion to the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier, one of Patagonia’s greatest natural icons and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This colossal ice formation, with its striking shades of white and blue, offers a truly unique natural spectacle. From Los Glaciares National Park, we will explore the panoramic walkways arranged on different levels, allowing us to view the glacier from multiple angles and enjoy truly breathtaking scenery. With a bit of luck, we may witness the dramatic sound and power of the ice calvings that occur periodically. The experience is completed with the thrilling Boat Safari on Brazo Rico, departing from the Bajo las Sombras dock. We will sail approximately 500 meters from the imposing southern face of the glacier, whose walls reach between 60 and 70 meters in height, to observe the massive icebergs floating on the lake’s waters up close and experience the glacier from a completely different perspective.
