French Polynesia<\/a> is one of the most demanded places by gay and lesbian couples and the LBGTQ+ public in general: in its islands equal marriage is legal since 2013, and the place is a real paradise that has all the ingredients to make your honeymoon an unforgettable experience. \u00a0<\/p>\n

If you finally decide to visit, it is essential that you explore three of the main islands of the Society archipelago: Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora. You will never forget waking up in a bungalow over the crystal-clear waters of the South Pacific.<\/p>\n

Mariela Castro, sexologist and daughter of Raul Castro, led the LBGTQ+ revolution in Cuba<\/a> and completely reinvented tourism in the area. As if that weren’t enough, Cuba has already celebrated eight editions of Pride, and the Malecon is decorated with entire strips dedicated to the socialization of the collective.<\/p>\n

Havana will win you over with its architecture, its vibrant culture, its climate and the charm of its people. South Africa<\/h3>\n

South Africa is the gay-friendly country par excellence in Africa, an exception in a continent where same-sex relationships are punishable by capital punishment.<\/p>\n

The wild vegetation, its film-like landscapes and its incredible fauna make South Africa the perfect destination for any newlywed couple. A visit to Cape Town, a cosmopolitan city with a vibrant nightlife, is a must.<\/p>\n

Any self-respecting honeymoon should also include a visit to Kruger National Park, a nature reserve with accommodations for the more adventurous. We also recommend the Garden Route, a more than 200-kilometer drive along the South African coastline that includes mountains, forests, vineyards and crystal-clear coves. Watching the sunset lying on the beaches of Durban will put the finishing touch to the perfect trip.<\/p>\n
